TRANSFER OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE LICENSING BUREAU
TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT BUREAU
- By the authority vested in me as the Secretary of State of the State of San Andreas, it is hereby ordered as follows:
- SECTION 1. PURPOSE
- This Executive Order is issued to streamline regulatory processes, enhance efficiency, and improve public service delivery by transferring the duties and responsibilities of the Licensing Bureau to the Code Enforcement Bureau.
- (a) Transfer of Duties and Responsibilities:
Effective immediately, all duties, responsibilities, and functions of the Licensing Bureau are hereby transferred to the Code Enforcement Bureau.
(b) Transfer of Personnel:
All personnel currently employed by the Licensing Bureau are hereby transferred to the Code Enforcement Bureau. Their roles, salaries, benefits, and seniority rights shall remain unchanged.
(c) Transfer of Records:
All records, documents, and files maintained by the Licensing Bureau shall be transferred to the custody and control of the Code Enforcement Bureau.
(d) Transfer of Appropriations:
All unexpended appropriations, allocations, or other funds available to the Licensing Bureau shall be transferred to the Code Enforcement Bureau for the continued performance of the transferred functions.
- (a) Assumption of Licensing Responsibilities:
The Code Enforcement Bureau shall assume all responsibilities related to the issuance, renewal, compliance monitoring, and enforcement of licensing regulations.
(b) Regulatory Oversight:
The Bureau shall oversee and ensure regulatory compliance for all licenses under its jurisdiction, adhering to state laws and regulations.
(c) Public Services and Communication:
The Bureau shall establish a dedicated division to handle public inquiries, applications, and complaints related to licensing.
- (a) Transition Period:
A transition period of ninety (90) days shall be established to ensure a smooth transfer of duties and responsibilities. During this period, both the Licensing Bureau and the Code Enforcement Bureau shall collaborate to facilitate the transition.
(b) Interim Measures:
Interim measures shall be implemented to prevent any disruption in services to the public during the transition period.
(c) Progress Reports:
Bi-weekly progress reports detailing the status of the transfer and any encountered issues shall be submitted to the Secretary of State.
- (a) Repeal of Conflicting Provisions:
Any provisions of existing executive orders, regulations, or directives in conflict with this Executive Order are hereby repealed to the extent of such conflict.
(b) Authorization for Amendments:
The Secretary of State is authorized to propose and implement any necessary amendments to existing regulations to facilitate the execution of this Executive Order.
- This Executive Order shall take effect immediately upon its issuance.
