(( Due to possible lead times to complete the entire registration process, businesses may legally engage in their activities immediately after submitting their applications, however, the registration process must be completed within 2 weeks from the application submission, unless extended by the faction leadership, otherwise, the business may be considered unregistered/illegal and may face in-character penalties.
Please note that the above does not apply to businesses who's registration/licenses have been suspended, revoked or nullified! Also for businesses which previous applications were denied.

    Owning a business that practices and performs business of more than one of the below types, will still fall under only one category of business type, which is considered the primary business area.

    Depending on the business, certain activities require special permits issued by the Code Enforcement Bureau. Permit fees are paid only once and are valid until revoked, or until business ceases its activities. Such fees are:

    EXEMPTIONS
    The City of Los Santos provides tax exemptions for certain types of organizations and businesses, these are, but are not limited to:
    • Non-profit organizations;
    • Veteran organizations;
    • Businesses owned by the handicapped;
    • Religious organizations;
    • Churches.
    The types listed above do not need to process a tax return and will receive their business registration certificate after a successful inspection.
