- JOB SUMMARY
The City of Los Santos is seeking dedicated and motivated individuals to join our team as Code Enforcement Officers. These officers play a crucial role in maintaining the safety, quality of life, and adherence to municipal codes and regulations within the community. As a Code Enforcement Officer, you will be responsible for enforcing local ordinances, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance through education, inspection, and, if necessary, enforcement.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Example of duties you are required to perform:- Your major task will be to process business license applications along with conducting thorough inspections.
- Conduct regular inspections of residential, commercial, and industrial properties to ensure compliance with city codes and ordinances.
- Investigate complaints related to building violations, zoning infractions, noise disturbances, and public health issues.
- Issue citations, notices of violation, and orders to comply for non-compliant properties.
- Handle complex cases involving illegal construction, hazardous materials, and environmental violations.
- Collect evidence, interview witnesses, and prepare detailed reports for legal proceedings.
- Work with property owners, tenants, and businesses to bring properties into compliance.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, violations, and compliance actions.
- Engage in proactive code enforcement efforts to improve the overall quality of the community.
- Other tasks as assigned.
- Applicants are required to be 21 years of age at the time of application;
- Applicants are required to possess a valid driver's license within the State of San Andreas;
- Applicants are required to be a graduate of a United States High School or G.E.D equivalent;
- Applicants are required to have no criminal history beyond civil/traffic infractions;
- (( Applicants must be able to roleplay in a realistic fashion and display proper character development; ))
- (( Applicants must not have a recent or excessive admin record on any character. Recent is typically defined as one month/30 days, with excessive records being determined case-to-case; ))
- (( Applicants must not be actively banned from any of the official legal factions within LS-RP; ))
- Application — Applicants are reviewed and subjected to a background check, the applicant will proceed to the next step if they meet the minimum requirements.
- Interview — Upon meeting all the requirements and passing the first stage, the candidate is invited to a verbal interview, the test may have multiple steps. All candidates will be carefully evaluated and only those considered best qualified will be invited to the next step of the employment process.
- Review — Each interviewed candidate is reviewed by the recruitment staff. Previous employers will be contacted at this stage for a reference.
- Employment offer — Once a candidate has been chosen, they will be offered the position and will begin their probationary period.
