Immediate Suspension of the 2025 Mayoral Election in Los Santos:
Dear citizens of Los Santos, to all candidates, campaigns and to whomever it may concern:
Following joint deliberation by the Secretary of State and the Municipal Election Committee, this order informs the public and all relevant government agencies that the 2025 Mayoral Election of Los Santos is hereby placed on indefinite hold.
This decision follows multiple ongoing investigations into an event that took place at Los Santos City Hall on 29 June 2025. Verified CCTV footage, corroborated witness statements, and ongoing internal law enforcement investigations have shown members of a known criminal organization engaging in concerted efforts of election fraud. These efforts are believed to have compromised directly both the voting process and administrative integrity of the election apparatus
Given these flagrant and credible abuses of democratic process, the Committee has nullified the entire ongoing electoral cycle. No further campaigning, voting, or procedural motions will be permitted until the integrity of the process is fully restored and protected by law
In addition, there has been an official inquiry launched against Independent Candidate Kenneth Muldoon. While the Committee does not act on rumour and political rumour-mongering alone, the quality, quantity, and gravity of the complaints that have been received concerning Mr. Muldoon have passed a threshold that which demands urgent scrutiny under the mandate of the Commission's ethical oversight role. This inquiry will be fair, transparent, and in the public interest.
Meanwhile, Mayor Dallas Calhoun will continue to remain in provisional extension status as Mayor of Los Santos, until the time that a final determination is made by the Electoral Commission and Secretary of State's Office regarding the continuation of the electoral process.
The State remains committed to upholding the principles of free, fair, and lawful elections. Any attempt to subvert or exploit democratic institutions will be met with full legal consequence.
