    My name is Aaron Fernandes, born in the United States, to an American father and an Israeli mother, so I am able to speak from two sides of the fence when it comes to culture. Growing up, I felt drawn toward discipline, service, and a need to make a difference, which led me to enlist in the United States Marine Corps. Over two decades in service, rose to the rank of Major and had immense leadership experience and key role in grass-root and strategic challenges. My aspirations now are to leverage my military and intelligence experience in security and advisory positions in the private sector. I would like to continue to serve my community, ensuring safety, and use my skill set in consulting or mentoring future leaders through the complex global landscape. At the end, I want to leave a legacy of integrity, resilience, and strategic foresight.

    I am very interested in joining the Code Enforcement Bureau because I firmly believe in order, safety, and integrity within a community. My time in the military and intelligence taught me the value of structure, discipline, and adherence to the rule of law-values that are very similar to the mission of the Code Enforcement Bureau. Working effectively in high-pressure environments, giving full attention to detail, solving complex problems, and finding opportunities is within the grasp of my ability. Contributing efficiently to the bureau's effort is my confidence. Helping our neighborhoods remain safe, clean, and law-abiding, besides fostering a respect for the regulations protecting our community-this I want to ensure. Working within the Code Enforcement Bureau represents the ability to utilize my skill sets for the betterment of society and the community in general by creating a much safer and more orderly environment.
