MUNICIPAL ORDER NO. 2505-01 APPOINTMENT OF THE CITY ATTORNEY
WHEREAS,the City of Los Santos requires the appointment of a qualified and competent individual to serve as the City Attorney, providing legal counsel and representation for the City, its departments, and its officials; and
WHEREAS, Jack Spencer has demonstrated the necessary qualifications, experience, and dedication to fulfil the responsibilities of City Attorney; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and City Manager of Los Santos recognize the importance of having legal representation that upholds the integrity and legal obligations of the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDERED BY THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LOS SANTOS:
Appointment: Jack Spencer is hereby appointed as City Attorney for the City of Los Santos, effective immediately upon the passage of this Order.
Duties and Responsibilities: The City Attorney shall perform all duties as required by the Charter of the City of Los Santos and applicable laws of the State of San Andreas, including but not limited to providing legal counsel, drafting and reviewing legal documents, representing the City in legal proceedings, and advising City departments.
Compensation: The City Attorney shall receive compensation as determined by the City Council in accordance with the City’s budget and salary ordinances.
Term of Office: The City Attorney shall serve at the pleasure of the Mayor and City Manager, with the term and conditions of service subject to applicable laws and ordinances.
Effective Date: This Order shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
All city agencies and departments are directed to support the Office of the City Attorney in its renewed mission to serve the City of Los Santos.
This directive shall take effect immediately upon signing and will remain in force until further notice.
