MOTIVATION
- Tell us about yourself. Where are you from and what are your goals? (Minimum of 50 words)
I was born and raised in Los Santos, growing up in East Vinewood. Over the years, I've worked different jobs — from courier work to security contracting, and more recently as a car mechanic. Through it all, I've stayed grounded in my community. My goal now is to get involved in the city's cultural scene, help organize public events, and contribute to building a better, more inclusive Los Santos for all its people.

Los Santos has always had a rich, untapped cultural side. A lot of communities and stories go unheard, and I’d like to be part of changing that. The Office of Cultural Affairs feels like the perfect opportunity to help organize meaningful events, uplift local voices, and support the kind of initiatives that bring people together beyond the usual divides. I’m eager to be hands-on with city events and cultural projects that leave a positive mark.

I’m organized, dependable, and work well under pressure thanks to my background in jobs that required tight deadlines and quick problem-solving. I have solid communication skills, both in person and over text, and a good understanding of how to manage logistics from my time in courier and security roles. I also have experience with community engagement through side projects and believe I can bring a practical, no-nonsense approach to event support and public initiatives.

I’m confident with general office software — Word, spreadsheets, and databases — as well as using digital scheduling and filing systems. I’ve also done casual content creation and have a good grasp of Photoshop for making flyers, posters, and promotional material, which I believe could be an asset for the department’s event promotion and visual needs.

I start by listing priorities for the day or week, breaking down large projects into smaller steps. I prefer keeping a physical notebook for quick notes and digital reminders for deadlines. I aim to stay ahead of schedule when possible to allow room for any last-minute changes.
